Planch Cloud

Questions

If yours is not here, ask us.

What exactly am I buying?
A Linux virtual machine with a fixed amount of vCPU, memory and SSD, running in the region you choose. You get root access over SSH and full control of what runs on it.
Do you offer shared or WordPress hosting?
No. We provision cloud servers and VPS plans only — there is no control panel, no shared environment and no one-click WordPress product. If you want managed WordPress, this is not the right platform for you.
Do you sell domains?
No. Register your domain wherever you prefer and point it at your server's address.
How am I billed?
Monthly and in advance, one price per machine. Renewal invoices are raised automatically and there is a grace period before a machine is suspended for non-payment.
Which currencies and payment methods can I use?
Cards are handled by Stripe in euro, sterling and dollars. Naira, cedi, shilling and rand go through Paystack or Flutterwave, which support the local methods those markets use. Your billing region decides the route.
Can I change a server's size later?
Yes. Resize it from the dashboard rather than rebuilding onto a new machine. You can also attach block storage separately if what you actually need is disk rather than CPU.
Are backups included?
You can take a snapshot at any time, and you can put a server on a backup plan that runs on a schedule. Both are managed from the dashboard.
Do I need an SSH key?
Yes, and you will be asked for one before your first machine is created. A server provisioned without a key has no password and cannot be logged into — so this is a requirement rather than a recommendation.
Where are the servers?
In the regions listed on each plan, which come from the live provider catalogue rather than a static list. Pick the one closest to the people using your application.
How do I get help?
Open a ticket from the dashboard, or email support@planchdigitals.com. Support questions about a specific machine are easiest to answer from the dashboard, where we can see it.
