Refund and Cancellation Policy

How to cancel, when we refund, and what to do if you think a charge is wrong.

Planch Cloud is a service of Planch Digitals. Last updated 22 August 2026.

1. What you are buying

A 30-day period of service on a virtual server, paid in advance. There is nothing physical to ship: the machine is provisioned and available to you within minutes of payment clearing.

2. Cancelling

Cancel a server at any time from the dashboard, under that server's settings. No notice period and no cancellation fee.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. The machine keeps running until then, and no further invoice is raised. If you want it stopped sooner, destroy the server — but note that destroying it deletes its data immediately and we cannot recover it.

3. Refunds

Because service begins immediately and a period is paid in advance, we do not generally refund part-used periods. Cancelling part-way through a month stops the next charge; it does not refund the current one.

We do refund in these cases:

  • A duplicate or double charge. Refunded in full, as soon as we confirm it.
  • We could not deliver. If you paid and we failed to provision your server, and we cannot put it right, we refund that period in full.
  • A charge you did not authorise. Refunded in full once we have established what happened.
  • A billing error on our side. If we charged the wrong amount, we refund the difference.

We may also refund at our discretion where the circumstances warrant it. If something has gone wrong, ask — we would rather resolve it than have you dispute it with your bank.

4. What we do not refund

Periods already served; service suspended or closed because of a breach of our Terms of Service; data lost because you had no backup; and outages caused by the underlying infrastructure provider, for which we do not currently offer availability credits.

5. Unpaid invoices

A new order left unpaid for 24 hours expires and the machine is never created — nothing is charged. Renewal invoices are due within 7 days, and an unpaid renewal is tolerated for a further 7 days before the machine is suspended. You are not charged for a period during which the service was suspended for non-payment.

6. How to request a refund

Open a ticket from your dashboard, or email support@planchdigitals.com with the invoice number and what went wrong. We aim to respond within two business days.

Approved refunds are returned by the same method you paid with, through the same provider. How long it takes to appear is up to your bank or provider — typically a few business days, sometimes longer for cards.

7. Before you raise a chargeback

Please contact us first. A chargeback on a service that was delivered costs us the disputed amount plus a fee, and we may suspend the account while it is investigated — which is a worse outcome for you than a refund we would probably have agreed to. We will always look at a genuine complaint.
